Instagram ist Fluch und Segen zugleich. Warum? Weil das Konsumieren von Bildern auf einem Smartphone dazu nötigt, schon bei der Aufnahme, bei der Bearbeitung im Grunde an ein quadratisches Format denken zu müssen. Doch daraus kann auch ein kreatives, produktives Wollen werden.

Seit ich meine Arbeiten bei Instagram zeige, hat mich vieles irritiert, manches verwundert. Aber ich habe auch gelernt, von anderen, von anderen Konzepten, Motiven, Bearbeitungen und Kreationen. Hier zeige ich nun eine Reihe von Arbeiten, die im Grunde nur für die Veröffentlichung bei Instagram schon von vornherein mindestens als "trio" angelegt wurden und im Maximalen auch als Trilogie im quadratischen Format präsentiert wurden und werden.

Instagram is both a blessing and a curse. Why? Because consuming pictures on a smartphone means that you have to think of a square format when you take them and when you edit them. But this can also result in a creative, productive will.
Since I've been showing my work on Instagram, a lot has irritated me, some has surprised me. But I also learned from others, from other concepts, motifs, adaptations and creations. Here I am now showing a series of works that were basically created from the outset as a "trio" only for publication on Instagram and were and will be presented as a trilogy in a square format.
